- no one is every truly safe in the world according to Kathie.

Tidbits of what I write can be found on my blog, Kathie Writes which you can access anytime by clicking on the photo to the left. The photographs, some of which have been altered as prototype book covers, are all the work of the amazingly talented Laura Chifiriuc. If you are interested in the photos, please contact Ms. Chifiriuc via me, but please respect the copyright which she owns.

My sporadically updated photoblog comes from photos that I’ve taken, sometimes for research on a book I might be writing, my kids and all their sports they’re involved in, our adorable cat, a Bengal, and — well, life in general. I try to keep up with it but admittedly it’s not my priority. Like all blogs, it’s accessible via the photo link to the left or by clicking here.

Angels Near and Far is a blog that I started several years ago as part of the 911 Remembrance project started by D. C. Roe. It was his promise, to remember each individual who perished in the tragedies of September 11, 2001, and later extended to assigning each willing participant a name to memorialize in a blog tribute. Sadly the blog has been pretty much abandoned as my writing takes up a lot of time, the family the rest. The blog isn’t just for those who have left us, but also for those still here on earth. Note: The information about Sean is old, he has recovered and is doing very well! You can access the blog here.

Chico Writers Group is the writing group I started in January of 2008 and sadly, as of July 31, 2012 has come to an end. I was the founder, moderator, and organizer of the group and hosted a blog with information pertinent to the meetings and events of the writing group. Access that blog is no longer available.

Journal of Journeys is a blog I started years ago and has all kinds of goodies including short stories, poems, prose, and more.

And finally, The Pie Dudes Blog is very rarely updated by my former Pie Dudes, now commonly referred to as the ManBoys.
