Attendees must RSVP as this event is not open to the public and is a working session. RSVPs after Thursday, January 31st will not be accepted as manuscripts will be emailed out at that time and everyone participating is expected to have printed out and read their copy at least twice and have made comments on the piece for discussion during the workshop.
If you are unfamiliar with the critiquing process or unsure of what to ask of fellow writers as far as what you want them to focus on when reviewing your work, please refer to the critique guidelines, tips and hints white papers maintained off the “pages” section of the navigation sidebar.
RSVPs may be made by commenting to this post (your email address is required, however we will never post the address nor sell/share/bargain/trade your information with anyone) or via the FaceBook group, Chico Writer’s Group (you’re required to have membership to FaceBook and the group before you can RSVP).
Thursday, January 31st
If you weren’t able to make our first “Meet and Greet” meeting this past Sunday, you still have the opportunity to meet other writers and talk about whether a writing group is something you’re up for. We’ll be getting together this coming Thursday, January 31st from 6 – 7:30 PM at the Market Cafe located between 8th and 9th Street next to the Hwy. 99 ramps.
To confirm you’ll be there, please leave a comment (you are required to provide your email address however, it won’t be published or sold/traded/bargained/used for any purpose other than for us to contact you). If there isn’t a desire, we won’t show up. Of course you can also contact us through Facebook if you’re a registered user. Simply go to the group “Chico Writer’s Group” and click on “Events.” While you’re there, if you haven’t done so already, we cordially invite you to join the group to receive notices and information about upcoming events and activities!
