This is our topic for our upcoming Craft and Critique Workshop coming up on Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Butte County Library, Chico Branch (1108 Sherman Avenue, cross street First Avenue) in the meeting room (directly across the breezeway from the circulation desk). Tabloids are a literary dessert for those with an open mind to the mystical. I have found endless inspiration in the folds of a gossip mag.
Also – I am very interested in joining the Chico Writer’s Group.

I’m reminded of Men in Black and the numerous reference to the tabloids. Yes, that’s one of the many sources to get ideas for writing. Come to our meeting this Saturday, Sean. Bring along something to write on/with and let’s see if this is the group for you!
