Momentary Absence

The hubby and I are escaping for a few days before the Pie Dudes return home from camp.  I’ll be away from the computer (possibly) and most likely won’t be posting for a couple of days at least.  Enjoy your summer everyone! Z-dude on the mound.  Play ball!

Ghost Hunting and Sight Seeing in Oregon - Part 1

This is part 1 of an article series. Despite a really bad experience in Oregon several years ago that resulted in a solid year of fighting in court, I decided it was time to leave the past in the past and take the plunge by heading back up the coast into Oregon. Of […]

Wildfire Information

As the boys and I were heading out to the coast for our mini-vacation, several fires flared up and the threat to homes became real again.  For the second time residents in Paradise were having to evacuate.  Sadly, several homes were lost.  I’ve been without Internet access until today and am still on vacation, […]

Humboldt Fire: Update and Retraction

The other day I posted an update (and at that time, thought it was the conclusion) to the Humboldt Fire [click here to read the original article].  In the article, I wrote about the multi-store franchise owner of McDonalds and the claims he (a) refused to give firefighters food, (b) denied a donation request made […]
