Yep, I’m still working on the novel for NaNoWriMo, but have had to temporarily set it aside (hoping a few kinks will work themselves out in the process) so I can get some of my studies done as we’re going into the final weeks of college.  Keep those fingers crossed!

With school, the craziness of NaNoWriMo, research papers,

November 15th, the halfway mark of National Novel Writing Month. Of the 50,000 word goal,writers should be at or nearing the completion of 25,000 words or 50%. Booyah. And with those neatly packaged stats, Dear Reader, I present to you my current transcribed word count to date:

Ugh! Sometimes I just hate Microsoft Office’s alleged versatility. Versatility! What a freaking joke!

As of November 6th I’m 20.61% to my goal (which is less than a percent ahead of target) and yet have many pages to transcribe, so I seem to be plugging right along.

I’ve just posted the second “installment” (from a few days ago) of the untitled NaNoWriMo piece I’ve been working on.  It’s listed in the left sidebar under 2007 as part 2. 

Today’s word count wasn’t as great only because I re-read the first day’s writing and found some profoundly big errors and spent most of my time going back and cleaning those up. Did I have to do that?
